Away from the noise. It's driving me crazier, I can't think.
(at least she's self aware. the noise is simply white noise as she reaches a place where she finds it tolerable, dropping to the floor, her weapons making the most noise.)
Do you wanna talk, or are we just going to keep pointing fingers? I can do both, just tell me.
You really don't know what sets me off, huh? Walking on eggshells?
(honestly, good.)
Nope, that doesn't do it for me. An entire nation hates me already, what's one more?
(a shrug and she taps the floor again. just sit, yuri, goddamnit.)
Well, I did have a talk with him not too long ago. Here's what I told him, and here's what I will tell you. I don't want you to tryto forgive me, you can be mad at me, hate me, it's whatever, if that's not something you feel like doing. I'm just tired of the loop-- also, I can tell by the look on your face you two are not talking still. Do you want to store this conversation when you fix it or should I keep going?
(a little punch to his arm, which, unfortunately, most likely hurt, because she still can't control her strength. her hand goes to her chest, eyes widened.)
Sorry, that came out-- more than I wanted. Anyway, dude, spill.
[To Yuri's credit, he doesn't flinch, just shoots her a Look.
The problem is, Yuri isn't the type to "spill", but he's exhausted, and nothing seems to fix it, no matter how much he sleeps, no matter how many monsters he fights. Even the adrenaline doesn't do anything, whether he's here or at home. He's been pushing forward at a breakneck pace for months, dealing with one disaster after another, and he hasn't processed any of it. He doesn't really want to.
And now there's this whole thing with Flynn. Sodia's a coward and a liar, but her reasoning behind trying to kill him wasn't wrong. He can't tell Flynn that, and he doesn't know how to fix the breach in trust his lie has caused. They've never been good at talking through things, and especially not lately, when Yuri's crimes keep distancing them.
Suddenly, selfishly, he wishes Estelle were here. Just for a bit, just so he could see her. She'd probably be telling him to talk to Flynn too.]
I can't. [He doesn't want to let himself be vulnerable around Jinx that way, sure, but—] That's not fair to Flynn.
Guess what? Being like that isn't fair to you, either. If you don't externalize your shit, it will eat at you. So it's fine if you won't talk to me, but talk to someone.
(that's her main point. she feels something, she acts upon it. it maybe a small tantrum, like hanging sevika from the ceiling of silco's office to send a message, or progress day - the theft of one of the gemstones that power the technology of piltover, resulting in the blood of six officers dripping from her hands. all to show silco she's capable, valuable, able to correct her messes.
she goes the wrong way, but at least it's out of her.)
no subject
(she's getting tired of standing, the chatting of the market behind her isn't helping, and this is not a place to discuss everything she does.
so, humming the same song, she steps out to a less crowded area, expecting him to follow.)
no subject
Where are we going?
no subject
(at least she's self aware. the noise is simply white noise as she reaches a place where she finds it tolerable, dropping to the floor, her weapons making the most noise.)

no subject
We are talking. I'm all ears.
no subject
(because so far, all he's done is tell her how much of a fuck up she is, in her mind, excuse her.)
You don't think Flynn was wrong? At all? In the slightest?
no subject
Wrong about which part?
no subject
(¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
no subject
[Are you happy, Jinx!!!]
no subject
... What did he tell you about our talk? Anything? Everything?
no subject
I figured it was only going to set you off, and it was too public. And he went into detail.
[It's a strained explanation. He doesn't want to talk about his conversations with Flynn when Flynn can't even look at him.]
no subject
(honestly, good.)

How the hell do you know about that?
no subject
(jab.
but she doesn't lie. she just lets him sit on that for a second or two or three.)
I was just with him. I asked about you, and he got, uh-- defensive.
no subject
[It comes out before he can stop himself, and then he's looking away, scowling.]
Forget it. It doesn't matter.
[It absolutely matters.]
no subject
(goddamn, gotta do everything in this house. she's grabbing him by the wrist, a pull so he finally sits, jesus, why so stubborn?)
no subject
no subject
(her best guess is that yuri's wearing jeans to bed.)
no subject
Why do you care about this?
[It's defensive, sure, but it's also an honest question.]
no subject
no subject
Now you're getting mushy on me. I didn't know you had it in you.
no subject
(a little punch to his arm, which, unfortunately, most likely hurt, because she still can't control her strength. her hand goes to her chest, eyes widened.)

Or do something.

[Baffling. He really can't wrap his head around it.]

(a shrug. it's up to him at the end of the day.)
Anyways, where were we?
